Imagine playing games with figures you’ve created on a 3D printer. How about selling a few to your friends? Make stickers for your laptop. Build and program robots to act on your commands. How cool would that be? Ask your parents to bring you to the Fab Lab to see all of this and more!
What kinds of things can students do at FabLab?
3D Printing
Create three-dimensional object of all levels of complexity, from toy dinosaurs to high temp resistant engine prototypes
Laser Etching
Engrave wood, glass, and plastic. Make award plaques, unique family portraits on wood from regular photos
Robotics
Learn how to program machines that run today’s modern assembly plants
Hands-On Learning
Work with our experts to learn about what you can do with our amazing space and equipment

Student (Kindergarten – College)
$25 per year
Included with all memberships:
- One-hour safety training (required for children and adults)
- Discounts on projects, classes, and events
- Access to knowledgeable volunteers, other members, and Muskegon Community College faculty
