Coding 101!!

Technology rules the world we live in! Explore technology from behind the scenes and join us at the STEM Lab to learn how to code! Coding sounds like it is a difficult concept to learn but it’s fairly simple and children of all ages can learn to code. During this program, students will learn the basic concepts of coding and have the opportunity to explore a variety of robots. Teamwork, creativity, and problem solving will be areas of focus throughout the coding program. This program will run for 4 sessions and participants must commit to attending all sessions.

Session 1- Coding with Kubo- Introduce students to the basic concepts of coding.

Session 2- Explore robots- Allow students to explore coding with other robots including: Ozobot, Kubo, and Sphero.

Session 3- Project/ Challenge- Students will be placed in a group and create a project that is creative and allows them to code their assigned robot.
